Default Feedback Wanted! New Business Idea - Golf Grab & Go

‘Golf Grab & Go’

My new venture proposal (NVP) is to produce two types of ‘grab and go packs’ which will be sold as an additional click through purchase on websites including ‘TeeOffTimes’ and ‘TeeTimes Uk’. Currently these websites offer unsold ‘off-peak’ tee times to customers who don’t have their own private golf club, or fancy playing a prestigious course at the last minute for a fraction of the price. Due to the off-peak nature of these times (3-5pm & 6-8pm), purchasing food and equipment for a four-hour round is not possible or convenient when rushed for time. Offering ‘essential packs’ at the time of purchase, ‘Golf Grab & Go’ products would solve this issue. Pre-delivering controlled numbers of packs to golf clubs allows the ProShop assistant to transfer the product to golfers in a hurry when signing in.

Two options:

Golf Grab & Go – Pack includes sleeve of golf balls, tees, ball marker and pitch fork.
TEE-Time Grab Pack – Pack includes a selection of nuts, dried fruit, crisps and cake.
Basic Process

Produce and manufacture two ‘Grab and Go’ packages.
Provide ‘TeeOffTimes’ & ‘TeeTimes’ with a percentage fee for displaying these packages on checkout.
Approach multiple Golf Clubs and offer them a stocking fee for holding a set amount of packages for golfers to be given when signing on.
Value Proposition

‘Solves Problems’ / ‘Convenience’ – Tee-time websites/companies offer ‘last minute’ discounted value deals to improve golf club footfall and revenue. Tee-times booked in this way are usually off-peak and last minute which further justifies the revenue opportunity to add-on convenience products for the golfer in a hurry. Customers purchasing an ‘essential gift pack’ at the point of online booking avoid wasting time when checking in for their round.

‘Improved Performance’ - Giving customers the option of buying snacks and golf equipment prior to the round is likely to provide them with ‘peace of mind’ when arriving at an unfamiliar golf club. Often the food and equipment at a golf club is changeable, leaving doubt over availability and range. Removing this uncertainty is likely to relax and improve enjoyment of the customer (golfer) thus giving them the best opportunity to play well.

Please provide honest/business feedback on Pro/Negative's - Pref Golfers!
Many Thanks, Alex
