Really the best way to create a genuine e-mail list... is to create a genuine e-mail list.

That is, collect them genuinely either inside your business (if you have a physical location) or through an opt-in on your website.

There is nothing wrong with offering an incentive to sign up- a contest or drawing, or a fee coupon, etc. These methods can work very well. It will take some time but you will build an e-mail list of genuine people who are interested in what you have to offer.

Beyond that there's really no quick fix. Do not waste your time and money by buying an e-mail list- it won't give you the results you want unless you are willing to shell out a good amount of money for a genuine, targeted e-mail list and even then you're rolling the dice.

Thanks for your reply MyLaunchKits
Also I agree with you with buying an e-mail list from third party.. .as there is no guarantee that these emails contacts are genuine

MyLaunchKits is spot on with his advice. The reason an email list is so valuable is because it is a list of people genuinely interested who have signed up. Take that out of the equation, as with 3rd party list, and the value tumbles to nil. Build your list over time. It takes time, but well worth the effort with any business.

Thanks Logan for the tip....I read some blogs that encourage building a free participation page in your marketing website . that lead for some free things ...to attract guest
for example : register your email and some information in order to download free e-book or an 2015/2016 report.
Anybody try this before ?

Offering free incentives can be powerful. If you want to dive deep into the subject get the book FREE: The Future of A Radical Price by Chris Anderson. You'll jumpstart your efforts if you give that book a good read.

That said, there can be a double edge sword to anything. I've found that when you have a list of people who signed up for free xyz, it often doesn't translate over to a list of people who are ready to pay you money for abc. The chore becomes transferring any free incentive marketing into paid customers. Well worth the rewards though once you accomplish your plan.

My preference is to start with a Blog full of truly valuable information and each time they visit to get more, ask them to optin to updates so they don't miss what's next.

Start with your friends and family. Then get them to share with their friends and family.

Develop a website that delivers free "valuable" content by way of email signup.

Be personal in your replies to those that do sign up and provide more value.

Become a member of a forum or Facebook page and provide value don't just spam with links.

By being genuine and sticking with it you'll get an email list and a base of potential customers. Definitely a marathon, not a sprint.

From what I've been told, offering an attractive lead magnet is the best way to entice a signup. This can be an ebook, checklist, webinar... I am trying to build a following for my first book on brand identity for small business coming out on May 20 on Amazon, where it will be free for 5 days. I created a free pdf summary of the first section of the book, which I am about to start offering for free as well as a webinar on the subject taught in the book.

Something like this might work for you: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6X...ew?usp=sharing
