I use MailChimp. It is one of the best software for email marketing. I have nice experience of one year by using it.

I would recommend Mailchimp or Aweber. Have used both of them and the experience was great in both cases.

I'm a full time internet marketer & I recommend Aweber personally. Reason being:

1) It is very user friendly
2) Great efficient customer support
3) High email delivering rate

The only thing about Aweber is that it is also one of the most expensive email marketing provider - $19/month

I personally use Getresponse, reason because:
1) More function features than Aweber
2) High email delivery rates
3) Customizing free landing page
4) Live chat (with immediate support)
5) Affordable price $15/m

According to survey and poll. The recommended one are:
1) Aweber
2) Getresponse
3) Infusionsoft
4) Mailchimp

Hope this helps. : )

Default simple advice:

first thing is to get the information of the type of service they are giving and the features and update of their services. second is to try it. other option is to try the free services and if you think you have the budget to pay then try it i know they have other best things they can offer you rather than the free one.

this is free:Mailchimp
an example :::Mailchimp More than 6 million people use MailChimp to design and send email ... Sign Up Free ... MailChimp® is a registered trademark of The Rocket Science Group.

this is paid:AWeber

I mentioned this on another post... I use and recommend ConvertKit for a simple yet powerful email marketing tool.

I did a little blog post (well not that little) that compares ConvertKit vs MailChimp.

Yes there are affiliate links in that post and yes I chose ConvertKit. But give it a read for some insights on ConvertKit and some screenshots of the insides to check it out.

The biggest factor for me choosing ConvertKit, and I explain this in the article, is that ConvertKit considers an email to be an account. So you won't have the same email on multiple lists. Instead you'll have a subscriber, and be able to see the forms they've subscribed through and the sequences they are in, and much more.

You can read it here > ConvertKit vs Mailchimp: A comparison

This isn't a simple answer.

When I picked an email software, I registered with at least 5, played around with the templates, checked the billing structure, sent some test emails, and saw how they worked.

In the end, I chose Mailchimp, but everyone might be different.

There are some that are much more detailed with layout and templates, and some that are much more basic. Totally up to the user.

Best Advice:
Get your hands dirty and start exploring, see what works for you.
