Welcome aboard, Kay! Are there any areas where you have a specific question, where you think there might be a problem or you're looking especially to grow your business?

Hello friends,

Once you pick the subject matter of your small business, you can think about how much capital you have to start. If you have a huge amount of money sitting in the bank, you can use different small business ideas than someone who is starting with only a little bit in their pocket. Take this into account before you try to create the whole scheme of how your small business ideas will work out.

Best regards
Agili Ron

Default Hi Kay B

Don't get me started! I have lots to say about how a ladies fitness center can use the internet to promote themselves.

Have you thought about putting up some promotional videos of what you can do for ladies who want to get fit on youtube? Obviously, since I call myself YTInBusiness, which stands for youtube in business, I am passionate about using youtube to help businesses.

Using youtube is a great way to show people what you've got, but it can also help with your google rankings too. Also, it's free. Imagine all the bandwidth it takes to host videos, and youtube don't even charge for it.

I actually teach a lot of ways to use youtube in business in an email mini-course I have written, but I am not sure if I should post the link here because the small business ideas forum might ban me. Does anyone know what the rules are about that?

It is so amazing that in this day and age we have such a huge free resource to promote our businesses, we business owners really are blessed.

Take care
Julianne (Christchurch, New Zealand)

Haha, too true. I heard a man being interviewed on National Radio yesterday, and as they had just interviewed a teacher, the interviewer pointed out that our new man used to be a teacher, to which he jokingly replied "Yes, I am almost recovered..."

How far along are you in your business? Is it up and running? Do you have a website online?

I think the best way to proceed with your business is to think about your marketing strategies, plan out things, set goals, etc.
