Have you tried a free offer?? I know... I know... nobody likes free. But with YOUR experience in mail, why not just swing into marketing for a little bit and create a free trial offer for something.
Look, you see people in grocery stores doing samples... that costs BIG money. But why do they do it? Because samples PAY. You get the customer engaged.
DO NOT try a discount offer. That's just a catch that everybody can smell a mile away. Besides, as a customer, it requires that I SPEND MONEY first.
When you can create some sort of free offer and fire it out in the mail, then you have will attract everyone that is interested in what you're doing because there is no risk.
Is it a lot of work? Sure. But I tell you one thing, NOBODY can sell your product/service like you can. As soon as you get a call, you will know if the person is just a 'freebie seeker' or a real prospect.
I guarantee... it works!
