I do everything in Microsoft outlook. It has a task section to put your task, objective, and a timeline. You can then integrate it as well as emails into your calendar to better manage your time. It can also sync with many smart phones. That way you always have it, and you can update it any time.

You can also design something in Excel but not as good. Most other programs you can buy are similar and an extra cost that many times is just not needed anymore.

Thank you for your advice. Right now I use eTaskMan to assign project and task to my co-worker. It's easy and convenient. I need not to reload the page to see the new content or to create a task. It' all in the one page.

I use TomBoy for notes. It requires some additional libraries to run on Windows.

Thumbs up Look at ManagePro software

I love ManagePro software. I use to use Outlook to manage everything but the files got hard to find and I wasted about 15 minutes a day. Now I can leverage information to ensure visibility and focus on my team's follow through. It uses a framework of goals, action plans and tasks. I have used it for 11 years. They have one product that is just $20/ month. See www.managepro.com
