Twitter Autofollow Tools Are Disabled!

All of the top twitter programs that auto added followers are dead!

Twitter has disabled them. This is a great thing. No more spam!

I had at peak 17,000 followers.

Good thing twitter had found a way to counter those malicious acts that only a spammer will do. But still twitter is flocked with spammers that makes it harder for us to have a cleaner community.

As long as some people find it more interesting to have thousands of followers than a few true ones, there will be spam on Twitter.

I often get these mails about this person is now following you, and I can see 4 tweets written, 7,890 followers and following 7,891 persons.

Yeah, right!

I've never used automatic follow back, systems. I actually read my tweets, and I only follow those back that connect with me, either by retweeting (and not spamming), or by answering.

I agree, that is a good thing...there's a lot of Twitter spam these days.
