hey everyone... hoping you guys can possibly give me some recommendations on some leadership books. i've checked out this new one called corporate canaries which has been great. anybody else happen to read that one? anyway, i'd be grateful for other recommendations and thoughts, thanks!

For business leadership, consider the book "Six Disciplines for Excellence" - by Gary Harpst..

Is that similar to 7 Habits of Highly Effective People? I manage a small business so that's why i picked up Corporate Canaries as it seems similar.

I have not read the book but I have gone through a seminar of sorts on it. Good stuff.

21 different things, really.

A lot of it is about things you must do personally as well as things that are a naturally result of whatever synergy you build.

Do you find that 21 Irrefutable has a Christian point of view to it at all? I find that a lot of leadership books do. Just wondering

The author is a Christian so there will always be that perspective in his writings, however the laws themselves are not in any way "religious" in nature, just good strong principles.

Winning by Jack Welch. I think it's the best book on business leadership. Highly recommended!
