Thanks David, its good to hear that from you since you have recently joined and have been visiting frequently over the last few months.

I follow what you are saying, but for the sake of conversation consider that is debatable in my opinion. For example, just off the top of my head we could (easily) make all posts go through a moderation process prior to being published. This would essentially ensure no spam appeared, but geez that would be a lot of work for us and take the fun out of things. Currently some posts must be approved first if there are certain criteria met, and we definitely want to keep things open as we have. When you do see spam, often the case is just that a moderator hasn't been by to remove it yet. You can report those to us, and that is helpful.

We'll always have spam, true, its just a matter if you ever have to see it as a member. I'm glad to hear the positive results, we're always working on it and have some functionality we are working on implementing over the next month to keep at it. Never say impossible! muwahwahaaaa

I'm still new here, but I have been doing a lot of reading, and I haven't really noticed a lot of spam on the boards. I think that the mod's are doing a good job. People promote their products, but it's the same on other small business boards. It's nothing that I have seen to be an annoyance...

For the mods!

I'm agree with you, every once in a while i see someone keep commenting on each thread that was out of the topic, which can never give any help on the discussion.

Thanks for the input! Feel free to report any users to us that you feel are not contributing value to a thread but instead only posting for their signature. We'll look into it further from there ...

Count me in, I really like this forum, all members, mods as well as the valuable knowledge that we get from here. So it is fair enough to take care of it and treat it as if our own and put effort to maintain the quality to the best as we can.

I find that spammers are hidden in between us especially that we're a forum about business. We market our products in one way or another. But When it comes to complete spamming, I really don't notice that much.

I agree with you as I may have to put my signature someday. And yes, I think I haven't found any complete spamming 'round here. Kudos!

I'm glad signatures are OK. And yes, indeed, there is little to no spamming at all.
