no I only have one. I'm curious as to why having more than one would be beneficial?

I think it is against the terms of service of these social media sites to have one or more accounts. It might not specifically states that but their algorithm will be able to pick up questionable activity very quickly.

Yeah especially digg is very strict in this.

But still people are creating different digg account using different IPs and dug their own stories to get on top of Digg popularity.

I only have one as well, but I don't use it to promote my website. Digg uses nofollow on their pages so search engine crawlers don't follow the links. Have you actually seen any real benefit from promoting on Digg?

Well i have two accounts on digg, but i am using just one regularly, Other one is just for back up, that if my other account get banned so i can use Second one ... Sometime i use both of them , but just some times

I think that if we have multiple account with Digg then we are the ones who are affecting these social media sites, why cant we let the crawler visit our site in a more natural way rather than these illegal methods of having multiple accounts.

Right, if you use several dig accounts and dig for your own sites, Digg would detect your behaviors and ban some of your accounts, IMO.
