Default Which Is Best? Squidoo Or Hubpages?

Hi guys!
I'm fresh to IM and I'm aware of Hubpages and Squidoo as being very useful to an internet marketer.
I just wanna know which is better ranked, which is more respected and profitable.
Sorry if I have overlooked this topic.
Thank you

The quality of content is better with HubPages because they are very strict about the type of content that they allow on their site. Google will rank either one for a keyword, it really depends on your SEO competition and the niche you are operating in. Just like any other website you will need to build backlinks in order maintain any rankings you get or want to achieve.

I personally have used both and found Squidoo to be better. Just my experience.

Although I'm doing quite good with Squidoo, what works for one may not always work of others that's why it's not a bad idea to test the waters and use both to your advantage, since they're free.

Having used both of them for quite a while I have got more leverage out of Hub pages. They are more strict but once you get used to their protocol, and at least create a genuine, informative article, the potential for exposure is a lot better.

I've found Hubpages articles to generally rank better . On Squidoo it seems to be mostly 1% of decent articles, that actually get good exposure, and 99% filled with promotional content that never makes it anywhere.

Even the squidoo spotlight pages seem to be mostly from users who have some sort of association with the website, or the users don't even exist any more.
