Hi everyone just wann ask what is Niche Specific Blog Commenting and also Niche Blog Carnival Submissions?

When people refer to niche, they are often referring to the topic. So in your case you would want to make comments on blogs that are similar to your topic ... comedy.

When to write a comment on a blog you have 2 purposes:

1. Leave a Link to your site. The blog you are commenting on, should be on the same Niche of your website, or at least on the same industry.
2. Drive Traffic to your site. You get this traffic when your comment is good and within the Niche the article was written on.

Example:

If the article in the blog is about Chocolate Cakes for Diabetic Cats

Your comment could be about Food for Diabetic Cats.

If your comment is about Golf Balls, you are out of the Niche (Diabetic Cats). You do not get the traffic and your link could be not counted for Google rankings.

A pretty neat application I came across recently is something called 'comment sniper' - www.commentsniper.com. What this does is it alerts you when one of your subscribed blogs has a new post - then you can go to the blog and be one of the first to comment - i.e. your comment gets seen by all of the other visitors to the blog.

This is the first time I'm hearing about a software called Comment Sniper. Will give it a shot, since it sometimes takes time to find good blogs to comment on.
