Default But How Do You Figure Out....

...the right way to use them. Okay, I get it, we should use social networks. I even love the idea but

I have a LinkedIn, FB and Twitter and I haven't found any information (except from hucksters who want me to pay for it) about how to set up and use them. I'm becoming more frustrated everyday with the enormous number of people who seem to know what we should do and the miniscule number of people who know how to do it. It really doesn't do any good if you don't explain how it's done.

Hi Rick. Here is my suggestion. Start with just one. I'd recommend LinkedIn because it is pretty basic. Setup your profile with them. Then take some time and search this forum for the keyword LinkedIn. You will find many threads with others discussing how they are using it. I'm not saying you will get sales that way. But that is how I would learn. Then do the same for twitter/facebook. Search this forum for other threads on linkedin, twitter, facebook

Search = http://www.smallbusinessbrief.com/forum/search.php

Let me know if that doesn't get you what you are looking for.

I use only Twitter and the most important thing is not to over promote your own stuff, submit interesting and useful links from other people as well.I submit my own links 1 out of 10 and it works pretty well.

I can't agree more with the thread sir logan has suggested, we can easily learn from those tips and at the same time be aware of those who only wanted to have our bucks..

Hi Jones,

I too have a linked in Profile and its always important that we should make connection with people who are genuine and always are on the look out for most genuine members.
