I don't think it can help in SEO. can you please explain if that is case. I think it can only help in getting some traffic to your website.

yes as it is said link is a link no matter where we add if crawler reach to it, it could be of great help. And similarly using signature in mails can help in sharing link to the right people as may be someone whom you were finding your audience get reached to your link would be of great help to you so it also work as we say sharing words so sharing links using email signature can help but can't guaranteed but as in SEO there is nothing sure everything is just our intuitions and way of thinking

Could you please suggest me how crawler would be able to crawl the links associated with the emails. Just do this experiment. Open your email account in Gmail and open any message and then copy the URL. Past that URL in another browser and you will notice that you have to give you password. Your email account is password protected and therefore it can not be crawled.

A link can potentially help in two ways (1) people clicking on it (2) impacting search engine rankings. With email signatures, they may help regarding people clicking on to your site but they will not impact your search engine rankings

As far as I know, search engine crawlers does not crawl on emails. lol!

Right, email links might be not helpful for your SEO efforts but I think it does help in increasing your site's exposure. It is a good practice to include a link to your site within your emails.

Really, can you please give me some other details regarding that? I have no idea of that process.
