Digg Removes 'Shout' Features

Hi,

I just read this news on one of the blogs that Digg is going to remove the controversial 'shout' features. I think it would be a great step by Digg to prevent spammers from flooding the message system as many of them are hitting the front page by shouting friends in their network.

Right now digg is Social Community , but when they remove shout box they just become Another Bookmarking site ... And i think its not a good idea for digg ? or it is ?

yep... You are right. However, as thomas said it's a good way to prevent spammers to spoil digg community. I think still there are some features to share your links with your network.

It is something like throwing the baby along with the water. Digg has to improvise something to do away with the spams and not just shutting down its service. I would rather suggest you to stop their operation.
