Default How Many Social Networks Do You Belong To?

I am just wondering how many is too many? I joined my space first, then face book, then twitter, then linked in. But it takes time to keep up with all of them. And all of this is new to me. My websites are new and that is why I did it. I want to market them and was told this would help. My other problem is I don't have very many friends so that is really hurting me. Any suggestions?

We belong to FaceBook, Twitter, and Myspace. We also have our website and our blog. I don't think there really is to many. The more sites you belong to the more brand recognition you will receive. However, I would be sure you are posting stuff that is relevant and worth reading then just spamming everyone.

The key here is to track how these sites has performed for you. Most people track according to the amount of traffic that they get from these sites. The number of relationships that you have established on these social networks can also be a good measure of whether these sites are working well for you.

Everyone is short of time so you need to track what is working well for you and spend most of your time on these places.

I used to try to be on all of them for the exposure, but lately I have been focusing my energy building relationship and opening conversation on just a few sites.

facebook, twitter, and mybloglog, those social sites really help me to make money... try to make some application or optimize your social network profiles. I also learn for socializing too, I'm still weak with socializing.

I belong to FB and Twitter so far, but I firmly believe that if you choose to use any of the social media tools, you need to try to create content that is interesting/helpful/original. So many people just post links on Twitter, especially companies. While linking and trying to spread around a good article is fine, it needs to be hand-in-hand with posts are not just links. I would write about your business, maybe a new lamp style came in and it's totally awesome? Maybe you're having a sale on certain styles?

"Friends" come in time.. the better your posts, the faster you'll form fans.
