Which One Is Better? Server Or Universal Hosting?

Hi everybody!

I am gonna buy hosting, but don't know how to choose which tariff is the best.

Which one has more advantages from SEO perspective,

- Universal hosting (for example: unlimited bandwith, 200 gb space, 100$ pro year - can only one site be hosted)

or

- A Server (for example: 1000 gb bandwith, 200gb space, 150$ pro year - can many sites hosted)

NOTE that I have one site and dont need "many website hosting advantage of servers". In this case, what do you think, which hosting service is the best choise for me? Is there any advantages of having own servers and ip adresses? or it is another SEO myth?

There is no SEO advantage or disadvantage to either way. Select the one that makes the best business sense for you in terms of finances and site administration.

This completely depends on your exact requirements. You have select one that goes with your budget as well as your requirements.

If you get your own server, you'll have to read up on how to administer it, i.e. keep it secured, install needed software packages, back stuff up, etc.

Yes u r true, administrating the server is a pain in the a. I am going to buy a grid service, to host 2-3 of my sites.

Stick with the people that do the hosting. You really don't want to try to manage the servers.

Run your business on-line. Let the hosting company run theirs. But don't buy that cheap $3.00 a month hosting or you will be waiting for your site to be avaiable 1/2 the time. Go with a reliable provider.
