How do you set the goals? I have it set to show conversions but it won't let me set goals.

You have to specify your goal URL - the page that a visitor will 'land' on after accomplishing the desired goal. For e.g. if you want them to sign up for a newsletter your goal URL might be the newsletter thankyou (for subscribing) page.

Thanks for the responses.
Sorry for being too vague. I have set up my conversion tracking and that is working, but on the Analtics Dashboard page there is a category for setting goals, and that is grayed out so I cannot select it. Are the goals the same as setting the conversions in adwords?

Yes, it is just like the conversions in adwords. You can set up your goals by specifying the URL for a Thank You page or any other page you want. You can specify a goal name so that you will recognize when viewing reports. You can also setup a value for your goal.

Establish your goal URL - your landing page in essence. This will get you where you need to be.

Hi,

Most probably it would be thank you page link in a Goal URL field.
