The author brings up a good point about social media not being free:

"However, integrating these tools into a corporate marketing program requires skill, time, and money."

You also need to leave yourself time to make a few mistakes, because it's a learning experience -- it's not like you can read it from a manual and then you are good to go. You need to learn a few things by doing them wrong first. And that takes time, and energy.
