Hi! Do you know how much of your traffic comes to your 404 error page? The 404 page is shown every time someone asks for a page that is not available on your blog.A lot of your traffic can come to that page, and if you don´t have it customized people will leave from your site quickly.

A few recommendations:

- Put Google adsense ads on the 404 page
- Put a search box on the page
- Put a sitemap on the page

Ok I'll try to customize that page, I haven't payed much attention with it and didn't know about the potential traffic it can bring, thanks for bringing this up..

I have done a simple thing. i places sitemap of my sites for helping to choose topic from them.

I have not customized my pages yet.
But here some of very good tips listed.I will now try to customize my pages with these methods.

It is really easy. Just create a page on your site, customizing with the content you want included. Name it whatever you want, for example missing.html. Then your host can set it for you, or within your cpanel there should be a function to enter the url of the page you made so it displays anytime someone gets a page not found error. Once you've done that, enter a url that doesn't exist on your site to confirm you are getting the custom page you intended. Let us know if you need more help.
