Should You Blog?
Well, that depends. If you're opinionated like I am, have something to say and want to share your views and opinions with the world, then you'll probably find a comfort level with a blog.
But if you do decide to blog and you're doing it as a "for- profit" enterprise, it's important that you take it seriously and treat it like a business. Because that's exactly what it is.
It means refreshing your content regularly and giving your readers plenty of value so that they have a reason to return often.
If you're not prepared to do those things on a consistent basis, then you shouldn't blog.
But if you do decide to make that commitment, I look forward to seeing you in the blogospere!

Hey David,
We cross paths again!!
Another great point. I made this mistake when I was first moving into online business and my blog efforts were weak at best.
I then did a 90 fitness challenge and made the committment to blog about my journey. I had followers from a few of my lists so my credibility was on the line.
If you aren't a self starter...try this strategy for staying motivated. It works VERY WELL!

Hello again, Mr. Popovic!
Not taking blogging seriously is a pretty common mistake to make, because it's so informal.
That's why I felt the need to make this post.
Kudos to you for recognizing your mistake and turning things around.

How often would you say you need to post? If you are writing post that you thank may be of help on a subject that requires research, posts take a lot longer.

Web design is an entirely different topic, and I really don't want to go in to it too much here. That being said, your blog should be as user-friendly as possible. Use pleasing colors, and a simple layout and design.

Post whenever you have something worthwhile or important to share with your readers. For some bloggers that's once a week. For others that's once a month.
I personally post an item nearly every day. But that's me. I'm a very active blogger.

I normally don't evaluate people's websites. I just don't have the time to do that.
That being said, since we're both members of the same forum, I did take a quick look at your site.
A reverse-type website (dark background with white or light colored text) is one of the worst design mistakes you can make. It's very hard on the eyes.
In fact, your site was so unreadable, I spent about 10 seconds on it and left.
Use a white or light colored background with black text.

Thanks for the advise. We, in fact, have been contemplating about changing the CSS. Perhaps now is the time.
