Question Twitter? Can It Help?

I have a bit of a hard time understanding the benefits of Twitter. How do you get followers? How do you find people to follow as well? Is is beneficial for marketing my business?

thanks

Try this Search Engine Guide article series by our own Jennifer Laycock. Answers your questions in far more detail than any brief forum post could do.

(The link points to the first part of the series, which is five articles in total. Link to the second article is as the bottom of the first and so forth.)

Excellent choice. You can learn a lot by listening to her.

twitter is pretty easy after you try a few times, you can include your link to a webpage etc., and follow others by doing a search command at bottom of your homepage etc., i've found that most twitter people are willing to post their t-name on homepage of their websites and / or link to their twitter

i am very doubtful that people read more than a few lines of thoughts when they scan your twitter page --- so you might not want to go to crazy with entering all your daily activities, just to hear yourself or spread yourself too thin!

those are pretty different. So many things you can get from social networks promoting your business but twitter you’d need a great creativity… who reads your little updating messages from twitter? It is not clear to me

Twitter is a good way of building relationships with people in the same field as yourself. You can also keep in touch with your customers and let them know when there is new content on your site or offers.
