Default The Age Old Question... How To Get Traffic.

I am not going to give any detailed senario. I am currently using google ad, and paying about 10 a day. I am still not getting sales (and I have been told over n over my site is real good by the customers who did buy)

So can anyone throw out some general good ideas on good, preferably free, ways of getting traffic? Thnxs.

Hi, try adding a blog to your site and add an article at least once a week or so. Search engines love fresh, new content, so they will keep coming back and you will start seeing visitors coming for keywords you didn't expect.

Have you tried any SEO methods? Optimized you web content with keywords, building backlinks to your site. Or even putting your site URL in forum signatures.

The first thing you should do is to see if the keywords for your google ads are so relevant to your business. It's better to target very relevant keyword phrases and to have a bigger chance to convert then having lots of traffic.

After that I think you should invest in a web marketing campaign. All the SEO in the world will not help you if you don't constantly produce new good content. Another thing, after you build your content, would be to market your business : spread the word on forums, blog related, social sites, social bookmarking, article writing websites. All this will get you in time better organic rankings and you could target many other keywords.

Maintaining a business blog would help a lot and even if you don't wanna write your own articles you can get very good articles for 25$ up to 50$ per article. If I would make a decision I would invest in blogging rather then PPC because with blogging, even thou the results come in time, you establish yourself in the market and you enhance the Internet exposure with a good solid base.

Thank you

Try to build a community around your site. Start a forum and/or a blog.

Itīs all about getting links back to your site. The best way to do this is by writing articles and submitting them to article directories.I recommend you also start building a list of subscribers, thatīs where the money is.

Add blog to your site. Try SEO methods, do some submissions like articles and some forum postings with links. These will help you to get back links. You can also submit your business to some free/paid online business directories like Jigsaw.com, Businesspages.com.
