Exclamation How Long Does It Take To See Traffic Results From Blogging?

The one thing you’ll need to understand about blogging for business reasons is that when your intentions are tied to your business, you aren’t going to get a lot of general b2b traffic, or general consumer traffic, which means you probably aren’t going to become one of blogging’s superstars. But if you really take the time to know your client base, you will become admired and respected by them, which is what really matters.

But lets say you do it right, is there generally an estimated amount to time before you blog catches on fire?

I manage to get my blog in google search for most of the keywords related to 3d models for MAYA and 3DSMAX.. I dont have that blog in my signature.. In the last one month my search engine traffic increased from 1 to 2 % per day to 27 to 30%.. I spend min 2 hours to promote my blog.. And its worth it..

I think you have to market your blog just like you do your website. I.e building backlinks and content. So the speed at which you do that determines your sucess.

No, because there are too many variables involved. For example, if you had ten entirely different blogs all doing things exactly the same way, you would more than likely get ten different results. In other words, all things being equal, some blogs would do better than other blogs.

Why? That's just the nature of the beast.

It depends on a number of things. Some blogs catch steam in the first 2-3 months, while others take years to develop. In my personal opinion, its all based on "feeding a hungry market" and staying consistent with your product. If you captivate your audience, they'll be bound to come back and let others know. Some people get discouraged after the first 2-3 months and get sloppy with their work, only to find out that nothing in life comes easy. Patience is a virtue - remember your grade 6 teacher telling you that?

The results will come over time little by little. You know you are getting closer to your goal for every new subscriber you get on your list and every blog post you make.
