hi,

I'd like to know how many of them actually make money out of blogging and what was your first online income through blogging.

There are lot of people who don't believe on making money by blogging.

Ok I'll start with me first...

My first earning was through Google Adsense $100...

I have no ads on my blog, and if I mention a product, I refuse to use affiliate links. I like to remain objective

I don't think that it is really important what others are doing in volume. Just because some body earns a tremendous amount, we shouldn't conclude a thing. There are many factors to their individual success.

I've heard about a thirteen year old earning $800. first shot with a blog. You won't be able to do the same but I guess it is fun to discover this!!

I really want to start a blog that will make a couple bucks here or there, but how do I go about doing that, I have literally no idea, as I've been overwhelmed with too many ideas. Where's a good place to start? I feel strangely intimidated and really just need a person to tell me where to start.

....but don't forget you can make money out of your blog by it

• bringing in enquiries
• upping your SEO
• stopping you getting time-wasting emails

etc.

For us what it's done is actually save us money rather than make it. (In fact it can't make money 'cos we don't have adverts! ). Having the resource there to refer people saves us time and thus money. Also, it means that people who get in contact with us have already got a feel for our style and are much more likely to convert to bookings.
