Default Ebook Marketing

Hello Everyone,

I have just created an ebook and I am in the process of beginning to market it. I set it up through Payloadz and listed it on Ebay but am looking for some other options to list it without empying my wallet in the meantime. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

What about print on demand publishing (e.g. www.lulu.com)? Blogging? PPC? Articles? SEO? Niche directories? Lots of options but much will depend upon your market, your budget, how much marketing you can do yourself, etc.

Thanks Karri! I did just write my first article last night and submitted it to EzineArticles to be approved. A question though, is it alright to submit the same article to more than one article directory at a time?

It's alright, of course. But as serendipity said, it would be better for SEO. So if you have the time change it a little, if not just submit it as is.

Also, as Karri suggested, use blogging. Start a blog about your subject, try to make it as professional as possible (I.E. register a domain, get some hosting, and set it up with a nice, clean design) it will cost a little cash but what you can then do is refer to your ebook in your blog. Don't offer as much info in the blog, only little snippets. From what I've seen that seems to work for such ventures. But I don't have any experience with ebook/info sales so I am really just basing this on my own observations of other.

Just wondering, what is your ebook about?

Submitting an article to several directories is common practice. The idea with an article is not to necessarily get high SEO rankings, but to get many backlinks to your site.

What about E-Junkie.com - you can sell from your website, blog, social network etc using their service, and their pricing is very affordable.

ebook marketing is effective but it's not time efficient, i prefer press releases and articles as a form of marketing

There are a lot of ways to market your ebook online. it would be better to come up with a web site wherein you can sell all your ebooks there. Then do the usual on-page and off-page optimization for online marketing.
