Default How Can I Advertise On Google Without AdWords

Using their programs? Is there any pay per click search engines that would be cheaper to get on google other than google itself??

Thanks
Monica

You can't include your PPC ads in Google's sponsored links area without being an adwords client. Other search engines have PPC systems, but each system only runs on that particular search engine.

Nope. Sorry but AdWords is the only way to get in the paid results of Google. If you are finding it expensive, trying targeting some longer tail types of keyword phrases. You may be able to get traffic at less cost than the higher priced keywords.

If i remember correctly, about 4 years ago... you can use search engine PPC and you didn't need to do google adwords. I guess things changed a lot in the past 4 years.

I had a vending company and i used overture for yahoo ranking and google for adwords.

I have my site on yahoo now because, of the free $100 credit. Yahoo keywords so MUCH less than googles! But, so far no response from yahoo search.

When i used google years ago, the over billed me and i was pissed. I had a daily cap. I read so many horror stories about my same experience with google and over billing. I'm scared to use them again for that fact.

Google distribute ads to other search partners, but I don't recall a time when Google was showing other search engine ads on their site.

An alternative strategy, although not ppc advertising. Take the top results for your keywords. Can you advertise on those sites directly where people are going based on the keyword search you are targeting?

It's not how much the keywords cost up front, it's how much revenue you make on the back end that counts.

A "cheap" keyword that costs $.10 a click, but results in no sales, is costing you money.

A keyword that costs $1.00, but generates a $100 sale every 50 clicks (only a 2% conversion rate, very attainable) is making you a profit.

In other words, IMHO it doesn't matter how cheap the keywords are, if they aren't generating sales for you, they're too expensive.

Compared with other search engineer, I think google has the highest cost performance.

I've found that I'm better off getting one click near the top of the adwords list by paying more than getting 2 or 3 clicks on page 3 by being cheap. They seem to convert into sales better.

Doesn't hurt to throw your branding around for impressions using lower bids (that nobody clicks)....poor mans branding! but I do recall seeing RichJerk that way, before I knew what he was. If you don't get Google responding with a request to up the bid amounts on your campaign.

Good PPc FIGURING TAKES TIME AND EFFORT! nothing else on Google I can shout about save what's been said in this thread.
