Exclamation Traffic Exchange Programs Exposed!

For those of you who don't know, a traffic exchange website receives website URL submissions from webmasters that join traffic exchange networks. The person who submitted the website then has to browse the websites of other members on the exchange program to earn credits, which enable their sites to be viewed by other members through the surf system. This increases the number of visitors to all the sites involved.

In my opinion, traffic exchange programs are a waste of time and effort. The traffic is largely untargeted, and of poor quality. There are much better and more effective ways to attract traffic to your website.

Dale, I agree. I consider those sites as predatory. They count on people who hear the web is a good form of cheap advertising but really don't understand how search engines work. Where there is money, there are scam artists. It sems like everybody and their mother is a web designer or an SEO expert. The reality is for every 500 that make claims, maybe one or two can actually do something valuable for you.

I came up with about fifty different ways to attract traffic to my site, and that was while i was driving around the roads. There is a lot of talk about getting lots of traffic to a site being very important -- traffic! It's hard work anyway you go about it. So, you might not want to waste time with a spammy looking site, aren't we getting tired of those, and many of the creators think that newbies to the web would cater to sites with an article or two on board -- think again -- browsing time is valuable. Surfers are learning about favorites -- as it once was said -- only thirty percent of the web is real -- the rest is repeated usage.
