Default Need Health Insurance For S Corps (Group Plan)

Hello,

I am looking for a way to get health insurance for my S Corporation and become a member of a group plan. Specifically, so that pre-existing conditions are covered and the premiums aren't through the roof. Does anyone know how I can obtain insurance whether using my S Corp or getting affordable insurance another way?

Welcome to the forum...I am not an expert in the area that you are asking questions about. I hope the other experts can be of assistance!

Your corp status in itself will not qualify you for much unless there are government subsidized programs of which I am not aware. Joining an organization or commerce group is probably going to be your ticket.

Default Hsa

Consider a high-deductible program that incorporates an HSA (Health Saving Account). It is a Bush initiative, but it could save you alot of money. Just plug HSA Insider into Google and you should get oodles of information.

I was just going to say a Bush-backed HSA! If you contact most of the major players in your area (Blue Cross, Aetna, Prudential, Metropolitan...) they can answer more specific questions you may have. Good luck!
