Exclamation I'm So Excited... I Got 1000 Hits!

This morning, I received an e-mail from a new client. She was all excited, because she had received 1000 hits on her website in her first week. She couldn't believe that a thousand people had discovered her website so quickly.

After examining her weblogs, I discovered that her 1000 "hits" was in reality 83 visits.

Default Link in this post has a browser exploit

I clicked on the link in this post and received a notifciation form Norton that this url contains a browser exploit and matches the signature of a known attack. Did anyone else have this issue? Dale, could you explain what happened?

Thanks! I had my engineer scan my domain from top to bottom and it came up clean. Sometimes virus protection report false positives. I've visited sites that I know are clean and my Norton goes crazy. Then when I visit that same site a few minutes later nothing happens.

No one else has reported a problem.

No issues here, Dale. Although I'm not running Norton until someone else has an issue I'm assuming it is related to the user's software/computer and not an issue on your domain. Thanks for letting us know you checked things on your end.

Default Thanks for the reply Dale

I certainly could be an issue on my end although I have not had any problems with any other websites. I appreciate you checking into it and glad to hear no one else has had any issues.
