I'm using uniquearticlewizard and i don't spend much money here but same thing i get the result i really want like my site has page rank and i have lots of visitors everyday i used that software for permanent backlinks.

people are using search engines for everything including looking up local businesses so i think SEO would apply here

if you are a SEO consultant, you can examine the client's website's meta tags to see if the location they want to target (the location they are in) are deployed in the title, description and keywords effectively.

I've noticed a lot of local business websites put a lot of localised keywords in their footer. for example:
london plumber, london plumbing service, london heat & gas specialists etc.

I've seen many people do it so it must be producing some results right?

Finally there are many directory websites, lists, guides that are localised. You can try to get your client's website added to these websites, lists and local guides.

It might also be worth looking at what other local businesses have done, where are they listed and try to get onto the same lists/websites.

You only need to look at how many google searches get done in a single day to know just how big the possibilities are for your business. When you can optimize your website design in order to take it to the top of the search ranks, there is practically no end to the number of customers that you can add to your list. Especially when your business is pretty hard to come across to in the physical world, good search marketing can make up for it ten times over.

Hi,

If your business targets local customers, then all you need to do to start building an online presence by registering on local business listings of popular search engines like Yahoo, Bing & Google. Usually the local listing option is placed right above the search engine bar. You would need to sign-up and create a personal e-mail id before you can register your company.

Mainly, it's all about communication. The internet is as competitive as it has ever been and being short on cash can only get you so far. But that doesn't mean that you can't compete, you still can with a smart approach to it.
