Arrow Freebie: Safe Hiring Guideline Document

On The Small Business Trends Radio Show, a recent guest, Robert Morris, Founder of The In-House Group, discussed important steps to follow during the recruitment process to ensure there are no surprises from your employees later on.

He discussed triggers that may appear immediately on the written application, key questions designed to detect honesty and integrity levels, the importance of checking references and background checks.

Did you just hire someone? Are you in the process of conducting interviews? Robert shares many insights and much valuable information with regards during his audio podcast interview. As well, he was kind enough to provide a Safe Hiring Guide that outlines important cues and points to pay attention to during the hiring process.

If you'd like to read more, listen to or download the audio or the FREE Safe Hiring Guide, please visit this page and enjoy!

But I'm interested to know, how have your recruitment experiences been? Any horror stories that the rest of us may learn from? Any positive tips or experiences that you've learned along the way that may help others?

Stillwagon,
Thanks for your reply and I have to agree with you here. For anyone in human resources or running their own small business, this guide provides an exact outline of the process to take.

He provides some great questions to ask, as well, that can help you to identify lack of honesty and integrity. I found it very useful myself.

Agree, Manny great tips. The eye contact is very important and I'm sure that many job recruiters would agree.
