Top tips for creating a business

1 - At the beginning, itís the time spent planning, rather than the plan, that is important

2 - Be complete in your preparation

3 - Donít start with a document template: it may constrain your thinking and the way you tell the story

4 - Write it with your readers in mind: know their interests and keep it focused and concise

5 - Let your organizationís personality shine through

6 - Donít stretch the plan to suit different readers: if necessary, use supplementary documents

7 - Remember that it is for you first and foremost

8 - Use it as a flag that everyone can march behind

9 - Donít bury it: keep it at hand and front of mind

Most entrepreneurs often focus their attention with immediate issues that they tend to lose sight of their ultimate objectives. They do marketing research, they hire personnel, etc. without having a concrete business plan in place. Keep in mind that although business planning isn't really the only thing that can make you succeed in this field, this can help to lessen your chances of failing in this endeavor.

Really a great point! A business with proper planning and the right execution can achieve good results soon. Also, knowing the target point of a business can still take you higher. So, planning and execution of it are necessary things for todayís business.
