Small Business Ideas Forum

I was just curious about how this forum got started, who owns it? Is it 100% volunteer driven? There seems to be some sister sites - search engine guide, etc. - which one is an offshoot of which? Is there a sole owner of these?

Hi Amir,

We launched the forum about 3.5 years ago because as much as we love the search marketing world, we wanted a place to talk about other small business topics.

This forum, Small Business Brief, Search Engine Guide and the Small Business Marketing Unleashed Conference are all part of the Small Business Answers Network.

The moderators are volunteers and help members without compensation.

Chris Logan is the forum administrator. With the aid of the moderators he spends an unbelievable number of hours keeping the place running smoothly. Without Chris and crew there would be no forum.

Jennifer Laycock and I are the owners of the corporation that owns the Small Business Answers Network.
