Default No End To Googles Arms

I just read this - and am fascinated at the length and strength of googles arms.

They started like every other company. Cash poor, full of p*** and vinegar and determined. More power to 'em. To the victor goes the spoils.

If the new world currency is information - Google wins hands down.

They are now rumored to be bringing out a google phone.
There are no concrete details yet.

But here are some possibilities.
  • A brand new handset branded google with google software running it.
  • The new google software running on multiple phones and carriers.
  • The software released free to be put on any compatible phone.

The result is information collected not only from PC's and PDA's but now from mobile phones, and I'm not just talking about google maps. I'm talking info on all email, word processing, phone calls, calendars and diaries.

You think they are scary now. Just wait.

Google is starting to get a bit scary, but US citizens have other things to worry about (see: Government).

Crimson Fox: concrete details are becoming more and more available. As far as anyone knows, Google is not developing a mobile phone, but rather a mobile development platform. You can find out more by doing a search for "introducing android" on YouTube or Google.

What we should be focusing on now is how Google's massive expansion and growth will affect the future of online search.

That is very true Tanner. Right know Google is positioning itself to be the end all be all. I don't know if that is a good thing.
