Default Cost Effective Print

I have had multiple discussions about this topic of print still being alive in the past month or two and one of the best things i heard was "until the cost of an iphone (or something similar) is the same price as a business/postcard print will stay alive".

I agree with Brian on this one and have been doing a lot of print marketing and print pricing research. I have recently stumbled across a site called Learn2GoTools they have amazingly low prices on business cards, postcards, flyers, tri-folds, and banners.

Hello, WJ. I presume you are a newbie, so welcome along.

Good to see another vote for print marketing.

It's likely newspapers and magazines will die out before print marketing ever does. After all, people still travel and generally move about- and when they do they'll see print ads. Posters, banners, leaflets... I don't think anyone sees those completely dying out any time soon.

Yes quite right, hyperbolic. I have read many articles recently saying that direct mail is due to make a big come-back in 2011.

I don't think print marketing's on its way to dying out. In fact, as a consumer, I rather still like being able to read product information on brochures and flyers. Besides which, I think it's fairly possible to make print and online marketing materials work together for you as a business owner.

Its very much alive, though often not financially prudent. ROI is almost impossible to measure, especially if its not linked an e-commerce operation.

It's still alive but shrinking every second. There are so many electronic alternatives. Besides it is saving paper!
