Default Can Corporate Social Responsibility Improve Profit For Small Business?

Many small business owners once dismissed Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as a public relations stunt used by large corporations to look good in front of customers and governments. However, over last few years an increasing number of small businesses have started implementing CSR policies.

Why? The simple reason is because CSR can help to improve profits no matter what size of business you are running.

Broudie - I am not why you say 5% is not well spent money. Are you not seeing the benefit in terms of better brand image, higher customer return, new sales, etc? May be you are not promoting your social efforts as much. How many customers and non-customers in your community know about this? I bet if they knew you would see good return on your contribution.

CSR makes customers think more highly of you. If customers like and admire you, they are likely to buy more products or services, will share their enthusiasm with friends and be less willing to change brands.
