Default Should My Webstore Sell More Than My Amazon Store?

I sell my goods (my own design) on Amazon, Ebay and on my webstore. Right now sales volumes are:

38% - Amazon
36% - Webstore
26% - Ebay

Would it be a reasonable goal to be able to sell more goods on my own webstore vs on Amazon? Or will Amazon always win out in terms of sales volume?

Well obviously Amazon is the most popular of the three..so i guess it wins over the sales volume.

Sell them to Amazon first. It's the most popular e-commerce site since it's Internet debut. Then sell to others later.

Increase sales on your webstore and once you have enough sales remove product from amazon to make sure people know you brand not amazon. The poor thing about amazon they don't give credit link.

There's a fee to pay on Amazon right?

If that's the case I suppose it makes sense to want to generate the majority of your sales from your website.

It seems like a reasonable goal. Do you get the email addresses of all the people who by from you on Amazon? If so I'd start marketing to them directly, and perhaps they'll turn in to repeat customers, and get used to the idea of dealing with you rather than through Amazon.

I don't think that your website should necessarily outsell your Amazon site (people trust Amazon, and that's what you're paying for) but I would work towards increasing website sales volume.

Definitely Amazon... Because it is popular, everyone knows and thousand of visitors looking for the products which are similar to you. But if you start selling products on your website, only a few % of visitors will come to your website only if you are in Google search. To get more business sales from your website, you have to do promotion for your own website. Otherwise, Amazon is the winner all the time.
