Default Reputation Is Everything In The Online World

It is said that it takes a long time to build trust and reputation for an individual or a business, but it takes only minutes to destroy it. The advent of Internet and social media has only reinforced this. Trust and reputation are the only things customers go by when doing business online with the ones they have never met in person. That is why your online reputation matters more than ever to your business’ success. Learning how to manage and fix your reputation can go a long way in getting and retaining customers.

Wow, very true. It is somewhat a shame as people are much quicker to vilify someone then they are to champion them. But I digress...

Very true. That is all the more reason to watch your business' online reputation and ensure one bad experience doesn't ruin it.

That's you need to give your customers the honest look of your business. With the wealth of information online, people can discuss things like a speed of light. So be careful on what you do.

When you advertise or promote your business it is very important how do you produce your business. There are many different ways that you can promote your business but customer satisfaction and interest are more important if the customer like the way you promote your product and services than they will definitely visit you again.

Whether you are new in a business or has a great deal of experience, you must have to build the credibility in order to make your business successful. Testimonials and expert's opinion certainly raise value of your products/services and make it credible to the customers. Make your customers know about the best features about your products.

I agree to all of you guys, reputation in this business is very important. Lots of merchants looks for affiliates that has a good working experience. We should be truthful to all our customers, in order to build good relation/reputation.

Default Too Good Reputation Is Not That Good Actually

With the current level of reputation management, users get more and more sophisticated too. I mean when everyone understands how important the reputation is, most companies try to keep their online profiles crystal clear, which looks somewhat fishy you know.
It's totally natural that some users can be unhappy with our services, as it's absolutely impossible to satisfy everyone and always. That's why we should watch our reputation but not overd it whitening it. Managing all kind sof customers issues is an important metric of company's performance.

Not to get too far off topic but...

We had a problem with a guy (presumably a competitor) who wrote a negative review about us. It was really brief and nonsensical, and didn't even talk about us or what we do! Any normal person would not take it seriously.

His username was Don Corleone and all his other reviews were similarly insane and directed at other businesses in my industry.

Now imagine if this guy took that same time and effort he spent finding a bunch of businesses, creating a fake Google Plus profile to hide behind and writing his insane rants, and did some actual online marketing.

It is becoming more and more relevant for local businesses to be a part of social medial, as a way to manage their online reputation.

A loyal customer can be a customer for life and that is priceless. Plus a happy customer can give you great word of mouth promotion and who doesn't like that!

Good read, thanks.
