Default Property Management Marketing

Im in the process of starting up a new property management business and would love to hear anyone's ideas on creative and effective ways of marketing. Im in a market that has lots of competition, but most of them have extremely poor track records so ive decided that now would be a good time to make my move. let me know what you think.

Use social networking sites to create buzz about your offering. With the help of Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn network, you can let people know about your business and generate leads in the process.

  • Apply for a business license.
  • Recruit local property owners as clients.
  • Advertize your business through banners and Radio
  • Rent or lease to tenants that meet all requirements established between you and the client.

Default Stay ahead of the market

I recently found this case study (it seems to be relatively new so unfortunately there is only an introduction post)

it does highlight a key concept about the future of marketing and how things are going to be. I thought this was a sustainable marketing idea for businesses.

Let me know if that hleps

If you are looking for property owners you can find specialty groups on LinkedIn. Another idea (if your budget allows) is to send out custom postcards using mailing lists.

Get your custom designed business cards from the Creative Pile graphic designer.

Default Property management

Great to hear your looking to get into property management, I'm a finance broker for over 8 years and have just launched into real estate and property management, both require a lot of hard work and long hours but well worth it, the management is the better if the 2, but all 3 work great as the businesses naturally grow organically.
Where are you based?, will be happy to help where I can, good to see people make it happen and be successful and do what they are passionate about...
Hear from you soon. I am looking to also franchise my model over Australia, as we are picking up 15-20 properties per month with my methods or marketing etc and only hiring high energy staff, in this climate is really great.

Find or ask about local networking groups. These groups are always looking for property managers, or know property managers and can give you some guidance and how to move it forward. Before doing so, get the basics in place, i.e., website, business cards, register the business so its legitimate, etc.

I think targeting prospects throught linkedin and your local chamber of commerce and other business organizations is a great way to start. You can use facebook and other social media to back up your efforts but so much of local business is relationship based and I think just getting out in front of people is huge.
