Tumblr.com is the best in my world, and it's powerful like Wordpress but easy to use like Blogger.

....and you don't have to pay for domain name.

Here are my ratings:

1. Tumblr
2. Wordpress
3. and Blogger*

(* Blogger removed my blog after a period of time. Rude.)

Tumblr is good, although it is more for multimedia rather than for business (which our company is about).

I find that Wordpress is a nice platform to use and many of our websites are built on Wordpress.

As for Blogger, well, if you have a gmail account then you may as well make use of it to get a Blogger account.

Actually, you can use both Wordpress and Blogger to get more readers.

If you're interested in increasing readership (most bloggers are), maintaining a few blogs is probably the fastest way to do it without spending money. Don't do too many though, or you will start to get penalized by search engines.

Actually, that depends on HOW you blog. If you want to keep a few blogs in hand to increase readership, you can do so and not be penalized by making sure the content on each of your blog sites is unique and original.

In other words, don't use the same post you have in Blogger in your Wordpress site. Duplicate content is usually what gets the red light for search engines, but you can evade it by making sure your content has no similarities between them.

Hello,
I think Blogger is better than WordPress.

If you're wanting flexibility within your site build; potential for future development and growth and confidence that your information is forever in your own posession then WordPress wins hands down

WordPress is definitely more extensible and has a bigger developer community (so more plugins). Also, unlike blogger's software, because WordPress is fully open source and just requires PHP + MySQL (or other supported database management system) to run, you can take your site to any host you want if you outgrow WordPress.com's offerings.

Blogspot: easy if you're new at blogging.

Wordpress.org: way better if you like having control, designing or at least heavily editing templates, and generally get your hands dirty.

Wordpress.com: in between.

I like Blogger for experimentation because many of its features, including Adsense, are free. But I use WordPress for commercial sites because of its extensibility.
