Thank you Logan,
It just seemed kinda wierd. I have had 30 clicks but no shown pages, and it's been a week. I'll watch it for the weekend and will contact them if something doesn't look right.

hmm, typically it is enough just to wait until the next day. have you confirmed your analytics code is in place correctly and working properly?

Unfortunately, no. The potential for fraud exists in every aspect of our lives - and the criminals are always one step ahead. Unfortunately, there will always be scumbags looking to take advantage of others.

There had been lots and lots of these scam sites who are saying that they pay you with these and with that. It really is getting annoying. Why can't these people make a living without making scams?

Because that would require working for a living, and these people don't want to work. They'd rather steal what others have worked for.

I wonder what the research/study is based to tell the % of click fraud.

I mean there will always be click fraud but not really sure if it's as high as 34%.

Research is based on a sample of data. You will find that the percentage really varies based on the sample. Some keyword areas/industries are more prone to it that others. Some search engines are more prone to it than others. Some websites are more prone to it than others.

I run a pretty high ppc budget (10s of thousands monthly). It is an accepted cost of doing business at this point, because the amount I spend provides a return that justifies it. As soon as google or others lose control and that is not the case, my budgets will not continue because that cost of doing business has become too high. For now, it hasn't. The issue is. Most don't monitor, so by the time they know they will be out of business.

There may be some dirty secrets when it comes to ppc fraud. I'm sure you can understand if you take some time to think about the search engines position in this issue that there is revenue they are realizing from it and thus profits they have associated with it. I do believe with Google and Y Ask Bing all consider the best approach is to address fraud. I'm not convinced though they do the best they can. But with others, watch out. All just my opinion.

PPC is wrong way and mostly newbies are started their career through this way but gain nothing. So i am not suggest any one to enter in such activities for their livelihood.

Default Click Fraud is increasing

I think 34% are quite normal and much to low. There are many traffic networks that are between 40 and 90% click fraud. Your only chance is a click fraud detection system that makes it possible to analyze your traffic and to understand it. If you understand the traffic, you can eliminate the identified bots. We tried the Tsuiseki system and blocked the identified partners in the specific networks. In the end, we could decrease the bots from 80 to 30 or 10 %. Tsuiseki is available at tsuiseki.com.
