Default Tagline In Print Ad

Hello All,
I own and painting and carpentry company and I would like your opinion on a couple of taglines my wife likes Feathered For You and I like No Mess and No Stress, the company name is Empty Nest Painting and Carpentry. If you guys have a suggestion that would be great.

I am in Ontario, and I just found this forum and I have gleaned a lot of good info so far.

thanks
Mike

A good tagline should be memorable. And just as important (maybe even more important) it should mean something.

Your tagline is going to end up being part of your Company Name / Logo, and it's going to represent your company in the mind of your customers.

So it's a good idea to have it represent what you want your company to stand for. It's even better if you can have it represent a benefit to your ideal customer.

Both of your choices (yours and your wife's) are easy enough to remember, so ask yourself... Which one ties in with your overall USP? (Assuming you've defined what your USP is?)

It would be easier to offer you a suggestion if I knew a bit more about your company, and your ideal customer.

Perhaps if you send a link to your website I could take a look, and then might be able to offer more help?

I would do a bit of market research first before buying the advertisement. You can use Googles keyword checker to see what people are searching for in your area relating to paint. You could also ask around town to see what people would be interested in.
