When you are building links to your website the key is to create a natural appearance of back links. If you have never had a back link pointed to your site, 75 is going to look a little suspicious if you were to graph it out. Now, the exception to this is if something goes viral. In your case if you have a new website I would keep it at 10-15 links per day for the first month and increase it gradually. On same days only make 1-2 links and on others make 30 or so to avoid a set pattern.
In all honesty though, you are better to find 1 awesome link and make that that 100 crappy links. So forget about numbers and look for relevant sites with high domain authority (use moz.com toolbar to find DA).
