Default How To Reduce Bounce Rate?

I am observing that my site is getting high bounce rate from the traffic coming from social media sites and also from Google. Does it have any bad impact on search engine rankings? Also how to reduce bounce rate on my website?

Having high bounce rate will definitely harm your website and its reputation.. Try to reduce your websites bounce rate by increasing visitors flow and engagement rate.

It's only common sense that the biggest contributor to a lower bounce rate is your content. No matter how someone got there, or even what they were looking for matters, if they find something truly interesting to them.

Post unique and high quality articles so that people can read it. And try to interact people from your niche so that people can read it.

One thing I can suggest is to start a blog with high quality engaging contents and show your recent blog posts at your homepage this can reduce your bounce rate. People who will land on your homepage will engage with posts..

There are many ways, you can reduce bounce rate.

- Create landing pages which improve content’s readability. Add relevant, fresh content on your website.
- Target the right keywords which increase website traffic
- Make ‘Call to Action’ relevant to your landing page
- Create landing pages which are load fast. Try to improve page loading speed
- Try to avoid pop up window
- Make all external links open in a new window
- Make proper website design and navigation

Rewriting the same thing and then sharing it with your audience is not going to help. For e.g. there are thousands of blogs that shares general tips on weight loss, however, most of them are same eat this and that, do exercises. These doesn't appeals anymore. Hence, if you are in the same niche, give something new and unique to your audience and then you will notice that the bounce rate of your site has reduced dramatically.

Bounce rate it should be less as it represents the reputation of the business. You need to focus on your bounce rate, by checking your website images, loading times, there should be less images on your site with alt text.
