Great points. I think an added benefit of purchasing info products is, if nothing else, to see what type/quality of content others are producing and selling both in and outside of your niche.

I'll also add that another mistake internet marketers make is that they aren't constantly testing to see what works. I find that the things I think will work sometimes don't and the things I'm not really sure of sometimes do. As they say, it's hard to read the label from the inside of a bottle, meaning it's hard to have perspective on your own product and marketing. Marketing IS testing. I drive my webmaster crazy with all the changes I make to improve my marketing.

Great information. I like the second one most "Does not want to buy products of learning in the internet." It is common with most of the people. Many thinks that there is nothing to learn and they don't want to invest.

Very well said.
One needs to be patient enough to wait until the results can be seen. Also, one cannot take the risk of investing all the money at one part. you need to focus in different areas. Initially, any business needs investment and time. It takes time to get the success in a business

Maybe read some of Seth Godin's books.
I haven't read his Purple Cow book but it's on my list

It's almost like setting up a business manually, just that it's based online. which makes it more convenient, to me. Definitely there will be problems, but it's all depending on how prepared you are to solve them.

The fourth point is very important especially if you are promoting products and services. Following up customers whether they are past and future customers is the secret of most successful entrepreneurs. Clients who say “No” before may turn into good customers in the future.

Default Advertising woes

As far as advertising is concerned you're spot on with advising people not to put all of their eggs in one basket. Personally, I think Google page rank and SEO are more important than web advertising. Speaking from a personal perspective I probably click Google ads less than 1% of the time I'm searching for something. Anything in the top 5 search results, however, is almost certain to get clicked.

Excellent Posts, as a Internet Marketer myself, this is valuable advice every newbie should dive into. Allot of mistakes I see newbies making, are diving immediately into Internet Marketing without doing enough homework or research. They will read a book or listen to a podcast and expect to make riches immediately. I absolutely encourage people to take action, but make sure you are doing your homework first!
