Question What To Do To Improve Our Website?

Look at Templatebowl. The site is almost three weeks old. Still, we don't know what exactly to do with our design/ layout. Do you think it's too simple or plain that's why we get very low traffic? Can you give me some comments and suggestions to improve the site? Thanks.

I like the simplicity, but I think you're missing the opportunity to make the homepage stand out a bit more with images of your latest templates.

I think it could do with some real world examples of your work. I'd defo keep with the sample navigation as it's easy to use and uncluttered.

Thank you! We really made it simple and easy- to- navigate so that users won't have a hard time. Also, we really plan to put some featured images on the homepage but we only have few designs for now so we decided to just put them later.

We got some of out artwork for our website done at 99 Designs. The rest of it was self-done in photoshop, I can do a bit of artwork but it takes me ages so I tend to leave it to other people :-)

Default Color

Hi,

I would like to suggest you to change the color, as it look very light. Give some attractive color with slides.

First of all, it is too early to talk about low traffic. It comes with time
Your home page is simple, which is a good thing. The problem is that it seems a little bit to simple on my opinion. I can detect some amateurism.

I would suggest that you take a look at a few successful sites that sell templates an get inspired from there. You absolutely do not want to start too far away from the leaders. They are on top for a reason

You should apply basics SEO rules to your home page as well. Headlines, more content, keywords density, etc.

Keep working hard, because hard work is the key. A good home page is a journey. You will have to modify it as you build other pages

The site looks good.
It has a clear proposition and action item on the top and with images

The top navigation bar needs contact us and info about your company
The top section can be narrowed a little more and have some more white space removed so that the page is moved up a little more

Does the owner of this site maximize its OnPage SEO? Or does he/she also reinforces his/her OffPage efforts?
