Post comments on forums, blogs and directories to increase backlinks. Try to link on higher ranking sites for best results. Just remember to have fun posting and not to make it work. The more fun you have the greater the # of links you will gain.

Regards and good luck with your internet business and I hope you make money online.

PR is not the be all end all. You can still have an optimised site with a relatively low PR. However if you are still keen to try and get a higher PR then a combination of tasks are needed a) optimising your content to be relative the keyword you are trying to optimise for b) quality and relevant links linking to your site c) press release d) getting your site submitted to various online bookmark services e) article creation and submission and much much more

One-way link exchanges are best, but harder to get. There are a variety of free link exchange sites on the web that will hook you up with link exchange partners. Be selective about who you exchange with and you can pick up a lot of good links.

To get higher ranking you use a variety of backlink tactics from directory submissions, to article writing and press releases, to blog reviews, personal blogs, social bookmarking submission, etc. I have tried using this company Submit Edge. They were fast, cheap and actually performed.

I agree that press release submission, forum posts, and article writing are a great way to build-up free publicity for your site. As you gain credibility, within different communities the impact of your posting or article writing increases substantially and will ultimately pay-off.

Agreed; press releases are by far the most successful and most effective form of marketing for the price. However, just as important, it has to be distributed correctly to maximize the number of people and potential customers that see your company's name and Web site.

Good luck!

Default You can try Hub site linking method!

You can try Squidoo...SEs like hub sites like squidoo.
There are many more Hub sites but by far, i find squidoo the most effective.
You can create as many lenses and linking back to yourself.
BUT, key point is to write something original while you are there...
Hope this helps...Of course i must agree that all the other methods like Press releases, articles, forums, ....works very well too!
