I've come across a lot of social media specialists and experts who recommend a wide variety of strategies that they claim are sure to expand your reach and get you leads. I'm sure a lot of them work. I've used a lot of them. But what most of these experts neglect to include is before you devise a strategy, always look at your social media insights first. Your social media analytics not only lets you know if you're achieving your goal. It's also a good indicator of whether you need to make adjustments in your strategy.
Why don't they mention this? Because monitoring of social media analytics is tedious and boring. But when you make it a habit to check you insights regularly, at least every week, it's easier to be more responsive to the needs of your audience.
