Default expired domains - ban on google?

i have one website that is on expired domain. site is new, but domain name was used before by soone else - that realized after i launched site. and the site could not get indexed on google and yahoo - but with msn everything is ok.
could this be due to expired domain - i heard that this could be the reason?

That could be the reason. If the site was sent to the sandbox, then you could still be there. I would also check what sites are linking to yours to make sure they aren't "bad."

i had several domains that has this same problem, although, i already have some ideas for the domains, though haven't started building them up.

What i can suggest is to build and make sure everything is working nice and good, then ask for google's reinclusion. Just make sure you tell them what the situation is, and they will surely visit your site to make sure you are not doing the same as what the previous owner did.

for google reinclusion process, i forgot the link though you can visit http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/ i believe he has lot's of topics related to this.
